The Initial Sync

The ERP Administrator is the gatekeeper to the ERP. During the initial sync, we directly enter ERP Admin credentials. This is what grants MineralTree access to pull and push data between the ERP and the MineralTree platform. On the flip side of that, MineralTree syncs with your ERP using a MineralTree Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager who establishes the sync is the gatekeeper to MineralTree. The act of syncing with this role gives MineralTree the "okay" to pull/push data from/into your ERP. 

Because these roles are critical to the synchronization, any alterations to these users can result in ongoing synchronization impacts.

Common Examples Include:

• The ERP Administrator changes their password (or passwords become out of date)
• The Accounting Manager or ERP Admin changes role types
• The Accounting Manager or ERP Admin leaves the organization and the user gets deleted/locked

For some ERPs, it's as easy as re-entering credentials by clicking on Company Profile and reconnecting.
