Payment Reports


Audience: Accounting Manager, Read-Only Accounting Manager, Payment Authorizer

Summary: Use payment reports to reconcile payments, review payment history, and track how vendors are paid.


Overview

Payment reports provide visibility into payment activity, from reconciling transactions against the bank to tracking individual vendor card payments.

Most reports can be viewed in MineralTree and downloaded for additional review. Downloaded reports may contain more columns than the on-screen preview.

Available reports and columns may vary based on your enabled payment methods, ERP integration, and account settings.


Which payment report should I use?

The Bill Payment Report and Bill Payment Detail reports are covered in the Invoice and Purchase Order Reports article.


Payment Report

The Payment Report provides a complete view of payments processed through MineralTree.

Use this report to:

  • Reconcile payment activity
  • Review payment history
  • Answer vendor payment questions
  • Research payment status
  • Connect payments to invoices

Monthly Payment Totals

The Monthly Payment Totals report summarizes payment volume and value by month and payment method.

Use this report to identify payment trends and understand how your organization pays vendors.

Daily SilverPay Report

The Daily SilverPay Report summarizes SilverPay activity by day. SilverPay is MineralTree’s virtual card payment method.

Use this report to review daily SilverPay payment volume and value.

SilverPay Payments

The SilverPay Payments report provides details for individual SilverPay payments.

Use this report to:

  • Check payment status
  • Monitor card activity
  • Confirm whether a vendor used the payment
  • Review expiration and card-use dates
  • Check the most recent reminder email

Amex Card Payment Tracking

The Amex Card Payment Tracking report tracks key American Express payment events, including delivery, vendor activity, and settlement.

Dates and times are displayed in the user’s local time zone.

Payments Over Time

The Payments Over Time report is a visual chart of payment activity across a selected period.

Use this report to identify trends and compare payment methods over time.

Note: This report is a chart only and does not provide downloadable data.


Cleared Transactions

The Cleared Transactions report shows transactions that have settled through the bank.

Use this report to confirm completed payments and support bank reconciliation.

Requires: An active Finicity bank connection. Finicity is MineralTree’s bank-connection service.

Results depend on the information received through the bank connection. If your account is not connected, the report will not return results.


Payment Sync Failures

The Payment Sync Failures report identifies payments that failed to sync with your ERP.

Use the error information in this report to investigate the failure and determine the appropriate next step.
