Overview

The new Invoice Details view is now the default experience when users begin a new session, alongside improved visibility into payment credit returns. Accounting Managers, Invoice Approvers, and Payment Authorizers will notice the most immediate improvements.

New This Release

New Invoice Details View Becomes the Default Experience
Accounting Managers and Invoice Approvers now begin each new login session in the new Invoice Details view. Users can switch to the classic view for the remainder of the current session, while the next login returns them to the updated experience.

Add Invoice Approvers during invoice creation
Accounting Managers can now add an Invoice Approver while creating an invoice in the new Invoice Details view. Approvers can be included earlier in the process without requiring a separate update after the invoice is created.

Preview invoice notes from the invoice list
Invoice Approvers can now see the number of notes associated with an invoice and preview those notes directly from the invoice list. Comments from Accounting Managers and other Invoice Approvers are easier to identify without opening every invoice.

Automatic notifications for payment credit returns
Accounting Managers now have greater visibility when a payment credit is returned. MineralTree automatically sends an email notification to the designated Payment Exception Outreach contact, helping teams begin exception handling without relying on manual monitoring.

Payment credit return status and history
Accounting Managers and Payment Authorizers can now see when a payment credit was returned and an email notification was sent. A payment sub-status and history entry provide a clearer record of the return, making payment exceptions easier to track.

Invoices

Improved Bulk Document Capture Reliability
Accounting Managers can process documents through Bulk Document Capture more reliably. Uploaded documents now complete processing successfully without requiring another upload attempt.

More reliable PDF invoice uploads
Accounting Managers can now upload invoice PDF files that contain embedded scripts without the upload failing. The files are automatically prepared for safe processing, reducing the need to modify or recreate the original documents.

Preserve invoice information when applying default rules
Accounting Managers can apply a default rule during invoice creation without losing entered expense lines, item lines, or other field values. Existing invoice data remains intact, reducing duplicate entry and supporting a more reliable creation process.

Updated memo values after copying coding
Accounting Managers can now see updated memo information after using copy coding. The displayed memo remains aligned with the copied coding information.

Accurate purchase order statuses in the new Invoice Details view
Accounting Managers can now save invoices and link purchase orders without the purchase order match or link status changing incorrectly. Both statuses remain accurate as invoices are saved and purchase orders are linked, reducing the need to recheck or correct the invoice.

Add all available purchase orders to invoices
Accounting Managers can now view and add all available purchase orders to an invoice while working in the new Invoice Details view, including purchase orders that are not marked as received. This provides consistent access to purchase orders during invoice creation and review.

Improved Validation When Applying Default Rules
Accounting Managers will now receive a validation message when required fields are missing after selecting Apply Default Rule, rather than encountering a Page Not Found error.

Year values restored in monthly reports
Accounting Managers and Read-Only Accounting Managers can again see the Year column populated in the Monthly Invoice Capture and Monthly Payment Total reports. Report results include the time-period information needed for review and comparison

Approvals

Easier Invoice Identification During Approval
When an Invoice Number is blank, the approval or rejection confirmation now displays the Invoice Details value instead of “N/A,” helping Invoice Approvers identify the correct invoice before taking action.

Preserve invoice information when adding the current user as an approver
Accounting Managers can add themselves as an Invoice Approver without removing entered expense lines, item lines, or other invoice field values. Invoice information remains available, preventing lost work and unnecessary re-entry.

Accurate invoice approval rule search results
Administrators and Accounting Managers can search invoice approval rules by vendor name and receive the matching results. Relevant rules are easier to locate in Company Profile, eliminating the need to review the full list manually.

Payments

Vendor ACH change notifications
Accounting Managers now receive an email notification when a vendor's ACH details are changed through Bulk Vendor Update. This additional visibility helps teams review important payment information changes without having to actively monitor the Vendor Audit Report.

Clearer Virtual Card Remittance Emails
Virtual card remittance emails now clarify when card details are sent separately, helping vendors understand where to find the information needed to process the payment.

Applied credits displayed on check remittances
Accounting Managers and Payment Authorizers can now see applied credits on check remittances.
Remittance information more accurately reflects how the payment amount was calculated.

Reliable pending payment approval reminders
Payment Authorizers now receive scheduled reminder emails when payments are still awaiting approval. Pending payments are less likely to be overlooked, helping authorizers take action before payment processing is delayed.

Expanded Vendor Account Number Support for Sage Vendor Payments
Vendor account numbers for Sage Vendor Payments can now contain up to 30 characters, including letters, numbers, spaces, and dashes, providing greater flexibility for storing account information.
