Summary: Reviews the options for determining the invoice date and due date of an invoice when it goes through Invoice Capture.
Invoice Date
There are two configuration options available to determine your invoice date.
Captured from the Document (default): The invoice date is whichever date your vendor printed on the invoice document.
Upload Date into MineralTree: The date the invoice captures (<24 hours after submission) is the date that populates onto the MineralTree invoice.
Invoice Terms & Due Date
There are two configuration options available to determine your invoice due date.
Captured from the Document: The terms are whichever terms your vendor printed on the invoice document. These terms relative to your selected invoice date above will calculate the due date automatically.
Vendor Profile Terms (default): The terms listed on your Vendor Profile are the terms that will be used to calculate the due date relative to the invoice date. If there are no vendor terms in the Vendor Profile, then the terms from the document will take precedence.
Please note that discounts are not applied until bill are queued up for payment to ensure the reduced rate falls within the terms.
