NetSuite Amortization Schedule Integration

Overview

The amortization feature in NetSuite allows items and expenses to be recognized over multiple accounting periods. MineralTree supports this feature by syncing amortization templates directly from NetSuite. Currently, only templates applied to an open bill or set as the default on an item can be synced.

 

Creating Templates in NetSuite

To use the Amortization Sync feature, you must first create templates in NetSuite. You can create templates by going to your dashboard and selecting:

Lists > Accounting > Amortization Templates > New

From here, you can create your template line‑by‑line according to your specifications.

Using Templates in MineralTree

After creating your template, you need to apply it to an open bill in NetSuite. This step ensures that all amortization templates are synced into MineralTree. Once applied, the template data will automatically sync within a few minutes, along with your other NetSuite data.

To apply the template: select the Invoice number you would like to apply it to.

Once the invoice is open, scroll down and select the Amortization Schedule you want to apply.
