Understanding Your New MineralTree Dashboard
The MineralTree Dashboard gives you a clear, simple overview of your company’s financial activity. Instead of searching through reports or multiple pages, you can log in and immediately view key information.
The Dashboard helps you understand your payables at a glance, identify items that require attention, and track progress through each step of the payment process.
What the Dashboard Does
The new Dashboard provides a live snapshot of your company’s accounts payable data at any time of day. You can easily see the status of invoices from upload through payment completion. This makes it easier to manage priorities, monitor cash flow, and keep your team informed.
How It Works
The Dashboard provides quick, flexible access to your payables data using a spreadsheet‑style layout that feels familiar and easy to navigate. You can explore your data in real time and drill into details to surface the insights that matter most.
What's Changing
The new Dashboard is a significant upgrade from the classic view. This section summarizes what’s new and what has moved so you know exactly where to find the information you rely on.
What's New
Two new elements have been added to the Dashboard:
-
Invoice and Payment Status Counts
- Displays summarized counts for each invoice and payment status. Selecting a count opens a filtered view with more detail.
-
Payment Mix Chart
- Shows a year‑to‑date breakdown of payment methods, making it easy to analyze your payment distribution at a glance.
What's Different
Two items from the classic Dashboard have been removed and relocated for easier access:
- The classic Dashboard displayed a Payment Status column grouping payments as In Process and Paid. This column has been removed from the main view. You can now find this information, and more under the Payments tab, where payments are separated into individual sub‑tabs for better visibility.
- Notifications that previously appeared at the bottom of the Dashboard have moved to the Search tab. This allows you to view and filter all alerts in one centralized location.
Dashboard Elements
There are four main areas in the Dashboard:
- Invoices
- Payments
- Invoice Aging Chart
- Payment Mix Chart
Invoices
The Invoices section provides a snapshot of invoice progress before payment. It helps you understand which invoices are new, awaiting approval, approved, or rejected.
New
Includes invoices that have recently entered the system but have not yet been reviewed or sent for approval. These invoices are in draft status and require verification before moving forward.
- Invoice Status: Draft
- Approval Status: Not Sent
- Payment Status: Unpaid
- Posting Status: Not Posted
Awaiting Approval
Displays invoices that have been sent for review. This view helps you track pending approvals and follow up as needed.
Approved
Shows invoices that have been reviewed and approved. These invoices are ready to enter the payment process.
Rejected
Includes invoices that were not approved. You can view rejection reasons, make updates, and resubmit them for review.
Payments
The Payments section shows invoice status after approval and helps you track payments as they move through authorization, scheduling, and completion.
Awaiting Authorization
Payments that have been submitted and are waiting for approval from a designated authorizer.
Rejected
Payments declined by a payment authorizer. Accounting managers can review, update, and resubmit these payments.
Scheduled
Payments that have been approved and are scheduled for processing at the next payment cutoff.
Failed
Payments that could not be processed successfully. This may happen if:
- A processing error occurred at the bank, or
- Vendor or bill details were changed after approval, requiring resubmission.
Invoice Aging Chart
The Invoice Aging Chart visually tracks outstanding invoices over time, grouping them into age ranges such as 30, 60, and 90 days. This helps you quickly identify overdue invoices and payment trends.
Payment Mix Chart
The Payment Mix Chart displays the proportion of payments made using different methods (such as virtual cards, checks, and ACH), helping you analyze and optimize payment efficiency.
Interacting with the Dashboard
All Dashboard elements can be expanded to show detailed data. You can start with a high‑level overview and drill down into specific invoices or payments as needed.
To return to the full Dashboard view:
- Select the collapse arrows in the top‑right corner, or
Press the spacebar
Note: Table layout changes made while exploring data are temporary and will not be saved after refreshing the page or leaving the Dashboard.

Planned improvements include:
- Additional invoice statuses, such as Sync Errors, for increased visibility
