How to Remove Connected Apps in Xero

Overview

Organizations may need to remove unused apps to free up limited slots for “uncertified apps,” which includes the MineralTree Xero integration as of January 2025.

Removing and re‑adding a Connected App generally does not resolve integration issues and should not be used as a troubleshooting step unless directed.

How to Remove a Connected App in Xero

1. Log in to Xero as a user with the Advisor role.
2. Click the organization name in the upper‑right corner and select Settings.

3. On the Organization Settings page, select Connected Apps.

4. Locate the app you want to remove and click Disconnect (or Remove, depending on your Xero UI).
