Audience: Accounting Manager and ERP Admin
Summary: This article reviews how to manually disconnect and reconnect MineralTree to NetSuite.
Disconnecting + reconnecting MineralTree and NetSuite isn't often necessary, but is most often so under two circumstances:
- NetSuite-user issue: If the NetSuite admin user who created the token for the NetSuite connection to MineralTree loses their admin role in NetSuite (whether due to termination or role change), their authentication token is invalidated and will need to be replaced. Reconnecting will provide and require an opportunity to enter the new token values.
- MineralTree-user issue: If the MineralTree user who last connected MineralTree + NetSuite (also known as "the connection user") is locked, deactivated, or is no longer a company-assigned Accounting Manager, another Accounting Manager user must disconnect + reconnect to become the new connection user. No new token is required for this scenario.
Disconnect
1. Log into MineralTree as an Accounting Manager user. Navigate to Company Profile by clicking your initials on the top right of the navigation bar.
2. On the Company Profile page, click "Disconnect from NetSuite" in the upper left corner.
3. You will be returned to the previous screen.
Reconnect
-
Click the CONNECT TO NETSUITE button found on the company profile page.
- One of the following things will occur depending on the state of your NetSuite authentication token.
- If your NetSuite authentication token is still existing, you will be reconnected automatically.
- If your NetSuite authentication token is no longer existing, you will see a pop-up screen appear. Enter the Token ID and Token Secret into the corresponding fields and click "submit."
You should now be reconnected to NetSuite.
If you need to create a new NetSuite authentication token, follow the steps here (starting at the header "Generate Token and Token Secret" and stopping at "During the Sync").
